The year may have come to a close, but our door of support is always open! Virtually!

Real Men CARE, Inc.’s support of “real men” – men who stand by their commitment to provide physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and/or logistical support to their wives “in sickness and in health” goes beyond lip service. We launched in 2014 with monthly Support Group Meetings aimed at providing a safe haven for male caregivers to talk openly and honestly with other men in their same situation.

Over the last seven years, RMC has evolved to ensure that we meet the inimitable needs of the male spousal caregiver and his family. We’ve made the commitment to help families grow stronger. Our desire is to enhance caregiver success and awareness through quality integrated services and programs and collaboration with community partners. Our spectrum of services now include: Individual and Group Counseling Services, a Kuts & Kurls for Kids Voucher Program, a Real Men CARE Package Program, and E.M.P.O.W.E.R. – Empowering Men to Persevere and Overcome With Education and Resources (caregiver education and training). We envision a world where every male spousal caregiver, regardless of age, has access to the appropriate tools and support services necessary to care for themselves and the women and children they love.

We are here to provide helpful information that addresses issues of chronic illness sufferers, their families, and caregivers. Our Support Group Meetings and Upcoming Events pages include details of our monthly Empowerment Sessions and other RMC events, and provides an opportunity for you to Share With Us your caregiver stories. We want to be a part of the caregiver community dialogue because we can all learn from one another. Your story can encourage and inspire legislators, employers, family members, and friends to acknowledge and support the of male spousal caregivers.

But in order to develop the best support system for you, it’s important to understand your caregiving experiences. Again, our doors are always open.
